The Montreal Canadiens lose a forward to the Seattle Kraken
The Montreal Canadiens haven't been spared by injuries over the past two seasons, and while this has affected their performance, it has also allowed for some positive stories.
Without these injuries, players like Raphaël Harvey-Pinard and Joshua Roy might not have been promoted to the main roster so quickly.
Mitchell Stephens is another example of this. The organization trusted him, as evidenced by his 23 games with the Canadiens last year. Many other players could have been called up, but Stephens was chosen, and he performed well.
It is now confirmed that he will continue his career with the Seattle Kraken organization.

Although he only scored 3 points with the Canadiens, he had 35 points in 49 games with the Rocket. He is a reliable forward who can contribute on a fourth line in the NHL, but his career will primarily take place in the American Hockey League.
Good luck with this new challenge, Mitchell, and we really hope you can make the Kraken's roster!
