The Montreal Canadiens make a post about Brendan Gallagher: It's horrible what's happening in his life
Brendan Gallagher is a true warrior, we all know that. Right now, he's going through tough times, and many athletes would be deeply affected by it.
Without downplaying how difficult it must be for him, he continues to show up night after night as a true professional, even though his mind and heart must inevitably be with his mother at her bedside.
Indeed, his mom has been diagnosed with brain cancer, specifically with glioblastoma.
"According to the Canadian Brain Tumour Foundation, the life expectancy of a person diagnosed with this type of tumour is just over 14 and a half months."
The Canadiens organization has therefore posted a message urging people to get involved and donate to brain cancer research. It's a noble cause and also an opportunity to support our beloved Gally, who has given his all on the ice for years.
