Shortly before the trade deadline, Martin St-Louis was placing certain players in the lineup, but we knew it was to showcase them.

This is the case with forward Jesse Ylonen, who hasn't played since last Friday, and several analysts agree that he may have played his last game in Montreal, possibly even in the NHL.

It's unfortunate for him, but he has had several chances to prove himself and hasn't capitalized on them. There will be two lineup changes for Thursday night's game, and with Colin White returning, it's now confirmed that Ylonen is the 14th forward.

Indeed, White will be in uniform and Pezzetta will be scratched (as the 13th forward). There isn't really room for Jesse anymore, and unless there's a wave of injuries, it would be very surprising to see him back in uniform for another Canadiens game.

The other change is on defense, as Jordan Harris will re-enter the lineup in place of Jayden Struble.

"Fourteen players jumped on the ice in preparation for the matchup between the Canadiens and their long-time rivals, the Boston Bruins, on Thursday at the Bell Centre.

Joel Armia, Cole Caufield, and Nick Suzuki were seen in the group before the start of the session but left the ice before the exercises began.

Colin White was wearing a white jersey suggesting he could receive contact. Head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed that the 27-year-old forward along with Jordan Harris would be in the mix against the Bruins. Michael Pezzetta, Jayden Struble, and Jesse Ylonen will be left out." - Montreal Canadiens
