Things have been very heated with the Canadiens: Michael Pezzetta, Patrik Laine, and David Savard are involved
The Canadiens players are already in training, and it's safe to say things are heating up between Michael Pezzetta, David Savard, and Patrik Laine.
While the rookie camp is grabbing all the attention right now, a sequence from the CH's training session has stolen the spotlight.
In the video, Michael Pezzetta is hit solidly by David Savard. Although it was accidental, it was a dangerous hit from behind.
Patrik Laine, wearing the same color jersey as Pezzetta, immediately went over to confront Savard as if he were an opponent from another team. Obviously, no punches were thrown, but the fact that he instinctively went to confront Savard shows his seriousness.
The intensity at the practice was already high, and I love seeing that! The players are giving it their all, while with other teams, some members haven't even returned from their summer vacations.
This bodes very well for the upcoming season, and Patrik Laine is already earning points!
