New assistant to Martin St-Louis: A former Canadiens star is being targeted
The position previously held by Alex Burrows as an assistant to Martin St-Louis has still not been filled, leading to rumors that Martin is handling the power play himself.

Recchi played 346 games with the Canadiens, spread over five seasons between two stints with the Philadelphia Flyers. He accumulated 120 goals and 202 assists for 322 points during that time, which is more than respectable.
He is also known for being very good with young players and worked with Pascal Vincent last year, who is now the new coach of the Laval Rocket.
I really like the idea. Recchi has always been appreciated in Montreal, in addition to having gained some experience behind the bench. He is a leader and a very good communicator who knows the game in Montreal.
