The Canadiens could certainly use a player like him, but only if the price is right.
Pat Verbeek's demands are reportedly higher than what other NHL GMs are willing to pay, which is likely why Zegras hasn't been traded yet.
His difficult season doesn't help, but according to Frank Seravalli, there's a good reason for it.
Additionally, when Zegras was in the lineup, he wasn't always put in situations to succeed.
The Ducks seem to be focusing on other young players in their organization, like Mason McTavish and Leo Carlsson.
There's still a lot of good hockey in Zegras. In my opinion, he needs a change of scenery and to rediscover his love for the game, something he's no longer able to do in Anaheim.
