We learned two great pieces of news in the last few hours, live from the Bell Centre, before the Canadiens' practice and during it, too.
Absent from practice yesterday in order to receive treatment, Kirby Dach was back.
Dach missed the entire 2023-2024 season due to a knee injury, suffered during the second game of the regular season, against the Chicago Blackhawks, following contact with Jarred Tinordi, the former defenseman and first-round pick of the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge.
Other great news
Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, who injured his leg this summer, made a return to the ice in a tracksuit.
RHP never wanted to give details about his injury, but everything indicates that it happened during a DEK Hockey game, according to the information we have obtained in recent weeks.
Will he be back playing with the CH in a few months? Hard to say, but one thing is certain, he could be entitled to a few weeks of fitness with the Laval Rocket, when he gets the green light from the team doctors.
This will obviously be a file to follow closely in the coming weeks.
Remember that the Montreal Canadiens are hosting the Los Angeles Kings tonight, starting at 7 p.m., at the Bell Centre.
