Worrisome announcement regarding Juraj Slafkovsky
Concerns arise for the Canadiens when a player is possibly injured. The numerous injuries, some more significant than others in recent years, have created a sense of apprehension.
Certainly, it's not reassuring to learn that one of the team's standout players is absent for treatments, especially as this has happened several times recently.
Indeed, Juraj Slafkovsky was once again absent from the Canadiens' morning practice.
"Forward Juraj Slafkovsky will not participate in today's practice (therapy day)." - Montreal Canadiens
This doesn't necessarily mean he will be absent for Tuesday's game, but it indicates that he is not at 100%. We have seen this often this year, with him, Sean Monahan, Cole Caufield, and Nick Suzuki. However, they have all played in every game.
Is this the new approach of the medical team? Are Kent Hughes' offseason hires starting to pay off? Only time will tell.
