William Nylander has had enough of Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner
The Toronto Maple Leafs are once again facing a tough challenge in the first round against the Boston Bruins.
The star players are completely neutralized, and frustration is evident. When coach Sheldon Keefe holds an optional practice, they don't show up.
In short, the guys aren't prepared to put in extra time, which explains a lot.
A truly rare scene occurred during the 4th game on Saturday night. Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner seemed to be complaining about something on the bench, and William Nylander firmly put them in their place.
Clearly, when you read his lips, you can only agree with him. If the Leafs players complain instead of playing hockey and working harder, it's not surprising that they get eliminated early every year.
