The Montreal Canadiens have confirmed some bad news for their fans: Juraj Slafkovsky will be out for at least a week due to an injury.

This absence could last longer, but a later evaluation will allow us to better understand the situation.

With this in mind, Kirby Dach will be promoted to the first line, alongside Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield. A line that we have already seen and appreciated, at the time. We hope for sparks, for this new/old trio.

This is a great opportunity for Dach to relaunch his season, after a difficult start with only one point in six games.

The other player who will have a great opportunity is called Oliver Kapanen. He has just won the jackpot and must absolutely take advantage of it, as he will pilot the second line, at center.

"Kirby Dach returns to the first line, reuniting with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield. Oliver Kapanen will be the pivot of the second line." - Priyanta Emrith

Everything indicates that the Habs will proceed with a recall from the Laval Rocket. Will Kent Hughes prefer Alex Barré-Boulet or Joshua Roy? This will obviously be a case to follow.

Note that the team's 13th forward, Michael Pezzetta, becomes by default the 12th player of the Montreal team and will play against the Rangers tonight, his first game of the season.

More positive energy in this team, that's not to be refused!

Additional details are expected to follow to shed light on Slafkovsky's health status.
