Montreal set a very important record on Saturday night
While our attention is focused on the Canadiens' hockey, speculations, and the performance of the young players, women continue to make their mark in the PWHL.
The Montreal team has been playing at two different locations since the beginning of the season, and it's proving to be a successful strategy.
Indeed, the women play at the Auditorium de Verdun and the Place Bell, which is a very good strategy. This way, fans from various locations in Montreal and the surrounding areas can attend their games.
A record in Canada
The fans present in Laval for Saturday night's game shattered previous attendance records for a professional women's hockey game in Canada.
In total, 8,646 fans attended, setting a record for the entire country. To be honest, I am not surprised at all.
Montreal has an incredible fan base, not just Canadiens fans but hockey fans in general. The women offer a great spectacle, and we know how to appreciate it.
