It is now confirmed: the Coyotes are moving
This is a hot topic that has been circulating for several seasons now, and it is now confirmed: the Coyotes are moving out of Arizona.
Gary Bettman still kept a foot on the ground in Arizona during the process. He likely does not want to admit he was wrong.
In the immediate term, several insiders have claimed that Coyotes players and the team's management have been informed that they are moving to Salt Lake City next season.
As for Bettman, he is purchasing the franchise for $1 billion and selling it for $1.2 billion. The $200 million will be shared among the other NHL owners.
The current owner of the Coyotes, if he manages to acquire land and build an arena to host another team in Arizona, will have priority for an expansion team.
When we think that Quebec has been ready 100% for 10 years, it's a real slap in the face.
