According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Clarke, 23, and Svejkovsky, 22, are both free agents for interested teams.
Clarke, a 6-foot right winger, was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in 2019 and traded to the Minnesota Wild.
His performance in the American Hockey League with 107 points over two seasons shows he has good offensive potential.
Svejkovsky, meanwhile, was drafted by the Penguins in 2020 and has 20 points in 70 AHL games.
Do you think Kent Hughes could move, considering the team has a top-5 priority on waivers until November 1st?
Personally, I highly doubt it, but you never know.
Especially when you remember that Hughes went straight through, when Jakob Pelletier and Raphaël Lavoie were available on waivers.
But hey, Clarke and Svejkovsky, both young and promising, could still represent valuable additions for the Canadiens in search of offensive reinforcements.
That will be something to watch tomorrow, but don't be surprised to learn that both clear waivers.
