Montreal Canadiens: Something major hides behind Joel Armia's recall
As we mentioned an hour ago, at the time of writing, the Canadiens recalled Joel Armia from the Laval Rocket. It's important to note that this recall is well-deserved.
The Finnish player maintained an impeccable attitude during his time in Laval and racked up his share of points. He acted like a true professional, and that's worth mentioning.
With Kirby Dach's injury, a recall was imminent, but it appears that it's not due to a lack of personnel. Indeed, according to David Pagnotta's report, Kent Hughes is currently working on a trade involving number 40.
"The #GoHabsGo have recalled Joel Armia from the AHL. They tried trading him in the off-season, and word is they re-engaged in trade talks this week. We'll see if any traction is gained. He's got another year left on his deal at a $3.4M cap hit."
