Official: The Oilers make an announcement regarding Corey Perry
We learned this week that Corey Perry has signed with the Edmonton Oilers for the remainder of the season. His hiatus is officially over.
While there was speculation that he might debut after the bye week and All-Star weekend, the Oilers have different plans.
It's now confirmed; he will be in the lineup Saturday night against Nashville. Perry will have a significant role on the third line and the second power-play unit.
This is a great opportunity for him to prove that he still has value. The Oilers will be aiming to win their 16th consecutive game.
