Trade market: The fate of Marc-André Fleury is now known
With the trade deadline approaching, several big names are being watched closely. Among them, there have been many rumors regarding Marc-André Fleury, who could join a contending team for one last chance at winning the Stanley Cup.
Rumors even extended to Toronto, as the Maple Leafs will undoubtedly try to solidify their goaltending this year.
Insider Elliotte Friedman clarified the situation, stating that Marc-André is not going anywhere.
"One important development as we head towards the trade deadline: Minnesota has indicated it will not move Marc-Andre Fleury. They are happy to keep him." This likely means that we have probably seen Fleury for the last time at the Bell Centre since the Wild will not return this season.
The goaltender has not yet confirmed whether he will retire at the end of this campaign, but let's be honest, with what he has accomplished, he can go and rest.
