Brendan Gallagher taught his teammates a valuable lesson
We all know Brendan Gallagher's character, which never holds back on the ice. Despite no longer being the player he once was and not lasting very long before heading back to the bench, he still gives his all in every shift.
In short, he is a role model, someone who proudly wears the Canadiens' logo, and he proved it once again last night towards the end of the game.
Indeed, as the game was lost and Tyler Toffoli was on a breakaway towards an empty net, Gally still did everything in his power to prevent the goal.
There is a lot of determination in this defensive effort. It sends a clear message to everyone in the locker room that he will never give up until the final buzzer sounds.
