Carey Price sets the internet ablaze with a video that speaks volumes about him
Usually inactive on social media, Carey Price has posted a video that speaks volumes about him and his values.
Evidently, the goaltender was much more connected to his fans than one might think. We have often seen him involved with young fans, notably one who had tragically lost his mother.
About a dozen years ago during a game in Edmonton, a young man made a sign for Carey, asking to exchange a stick for a string. It may seem trivial, but that moment stayed with him.
In the video, he mentions to the young man that he still has his string 12 years later.
"And all these years later, I come across my bag of strings, and I realize I still have your string! So I'm pretty sure that young man is now an adult, and I just wanted him to know I still have the string. Thank you!"
- Carey Price
No doubt, Price is not satiated with hockey and the fans; he seems rather nostalgic. This speaks volumes about the man he is, and rest assured that every time you chanted his name at the Bell Centre, he greatly appreciated it.
