Catastrophe looming for Sean Monahan? The Canadiens have issued a very concerning statement once again
It can be said that one of the pleasant surprises for the Canadiens this year is Sean Monahan's performance. We all knew how talented he is, but simply staying healthy is already a significant accomplishment for him.
However, it could be short-lived, and it would be catastrophic for the Habs. Sean has excellent trade value, and according to what we hear behind the scenes, a trade seems more than likely.
Once again, the Canadiens mentioned on Monday that the forward missed team practice for a day of treatments. It's becoming a common occurrence, happening several times.
In a normal case, it might not be very concerning, but when it becomes repetitive, it raises questions. Moreover, Monahan has often played through pain, even with serious injuries.
Let's hope this is not the case here and that it's a minor issue, but the concerns about him are well-founded.
"Sean Monahan is absent from this morning's practice.
Treatment day, says the Canadiens.
Not the first time it has happened lately." - Anthony Martineau, TVA Sports
