The trade rumors surrounding Trevor Zegras have been abundant since last summer, and they won't subside until a deal is made. The Anaheim Ducks no longer seem to consider Zegras untouchable, with their GM, Pat Verbeek, exploring the market.

The challenges in negotiations between the team, the player, and his agent are evident, and according to Darren Dreger, a trade is becoming increasingly plausible.

In this regard, Dreger floated an intriguing idea that Joel Armia could be part of a transaction between the Canadiens and the Ducks.

"Hey, maybe he's a throw-in (a complementary player) for the Ducks when Kent Hughes gets Trevor Zegras to play with Cole Caufield. Does that sound good?"

Yes, it sounds good! We know that Martin St-Louis is a fan of Joel Armia and what he can bring to the ice. In fact, everyone is a fan of the Finn when he gives his best. The issue is his work ethic, not his abilities.

If Kent Hughes has a chance to trade him, it's happening now. Armia is having good moments, and his hefty salary will be challenging to move if he's not performing well.

If the Canadiens' GM can indeed include him in a deal to acquire Trevor Zegras, that would be incredible!
