It's now official for Arber Xhekaj and the Montreal Canadiens
It was quite a shake-up at the Canadiens today. Defenseman Justin Barron has been sent down to Laval, while forward Mitchell Stephens has been placed on waivers.
Jeff Gorton mentioned earlier that there would be another personnel move, and it was expected to be the call-up of a defenseman, either Logan Mailloux or Arber Xhekaj.
It's finally confirmed for the colossus, as the sheriff is back in town!
This is excellent news for him, and it's well-deserved. Moreover, his recall comes at just the right time, as the Canadiens face the Senators again on Tuesday night, and it promises to be intense.
