Clash between Marc-André Fleury and Gary Bettman: we have a last-minute update
Over the past few days, Marc-André Fleury decided to rebel against a clear rule set by Gary Bettman and the NHL regarding his mask.
This story has circulated widely on the web, and hockey fans unanimously agree that it doesn't make sense to penalize a player for such a meaningful gesture that has absolutely no impact on the league.
We are still waiting to see if Bettman will take any action, but in the meantime, there's excellent news regarding the auction price for the famous mask.
Fans have spoken, and the bids have now reached over $15,000! This is three times the initial price, which is fantastic.
It's worth noting that all the profits will go to a good cause. They will be directed to the Minnesota Wild Foundation and the American Indian Family Center.
We truly appreciate that Marc-André stood up to the threats he received! People will benefit from his gesture and boldness!
