Cole Caufield doesn't hold back in providing a clear answer to a journalist
The Canadiens are a very young team, and there's a lot of learning to do. This pushes those with two or three years of experience to take on leadership roles and become young veterans.
Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield are great examples of this. The two friends must set an example, and most of the time, they do it very well. As for number 22, he's often seen smiling, but his good mood has its limits.
Indeed, don't bring up negativity to the forward; he will put you in your place. When asked about the fact that the struggles from last year are repeating in the power play, let's just say his usual smile gave way to a dumbfounded look, and his response was simply perfect.
There's no room for negativity in that locker room, and the guys will build around all the little positive things. The message is clear.
