Great news for Arber Xhekaj and the Montreal Canadiens
It was Thursday night when Arber Xhekaj got injured against the Golden Knights. On Friday, the organization confirmed that he would be evaluated daily, but he did not participate in Friday's practice.
Fortunately, the towering defenseman is traveling with the team, which will play its next five games on the road. For the occasion, it's the famous 'fathers-sons' trip, and there's a photo of Arber and his dad descending from the plane, bringing a pleasant surprise.
We know the defenseman is injured in the shoulder, but he wasn't wearing a brace. This is excellent news under the circumstances, especially since he is part of the trip, indicating that he should not miss the next five games.
