It's finally confirmed for Emil Heineman
Last week, when the Canadiens placed Tanner Pearson on the injured reserve, they called up young Emil Heineman.
He's a power-play specialist and a goal scorer, bringing an interesting dimension that the Canadiens lack the ability to shoot on the right side.
His mere presence could help the second power-play unit, which doesn't strike fear into many, and who knows, if he manages to score consistently, he might find himself on the first unit, providing even more space for Cole Caufield.
But well, let's start from the beginning: he will finally play his first NHL game tonight, replacing Michael Pezzetta.
It's said that he was the Rocket forward who was closest to the NHL. Upon his arrival with the team last year, he scored seven goals in 11 games. Impressive!
