It is now confirmed beyond any doubt for Canadiens' forward Owen Beck, who is officially traded
When we talk about a trade of one player for four, it immediately becomes apparent that the lone player is special. This is the case with the young Owen Beck.
We mentioned it a few days ago, and it is now confirmed. The young forward will finish the season with the Saginaw Spirit, a very strong team hosting the Memorial Cup.
He will undoubtedly have the opportunity to compete against the best teams in the entire CHL for a second consecutive year.
Soon to be 20 years old, Beck will likely align himself with the Rocket or the Canadiens next season. One can say that his last two junior years have been very productive.
Beck won the gold medal at the 2023 World Juniors, the OHL title, and he might repeat this feat again this year, potentially adding the Memorial Cup title. Just participating in all of this is invaluable experience.
It becomes clearer why the Canadiens kept him in junior, even though he seemed ready to make the jump to the AHL.
