It's now confirmed for Michael Matheson, who did not return to the game on Saturday night
During the game against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night, Michael Matheson had to head to the locker room and did not return to the match.
It's always concerning for the Canadiens when a player departs in such a manner. Typically, the subsequent news isn't encouraging.
However, this time it's different, as the defenseman was back at his regular position during the team's practice. It's worth noting that the Habs are currently in Vegas and will face the Golden Knights tonight.
Trying to secure a win against the defending champions in their arena is a significant challenge, so Matheson's presence is indeed more than welcome.
