Jonathan Drouin headed to Europe?
The planets seemed to align for Jonathan Drouin to have success this season, but it's not what's happening. After collecting an assist in his first game with his new team, there's been a dry spell.
This proposal comes from an internet user, but it caught our attention. What if Jonathan continued his career in Europe? With larger rinks, he would have all the space to fully express himself on the ice, which could be beneficial for him.
Several former Canadiens players have continued their careers in Europe, including more recently David Desharnais and Maxim Lapierre. They found success and were very happy with their overseas experience.
If this is Jonathan's destiny, we genuinely wish him to find his niche and finally achieve success. It's certainly an avenue he may consider at the end of the current season.
