The players of the Canadiens organization continue to work diligently to be fully prepared for the team's training camp, which is set to begin in a few weeks.
In fact, today, we were treated to a glimpse of a fine selection of young players from the Canadiens in action on the ice at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard. Thanks to an announcement from the Laval Rocket, we could see that Joshua Roy, Logan Mailloux, Emil Heineman, Jayden Struble, Miguël Tourigny, William Trudeau, and Riley Kidney, among others, were all training together.
It's great news to see that the team's upcoming talent is already building strong bonds among themselves, breaking the ice and also developing a certain chemistry together. Barring any surprises, they should all be playing for the Laval Rocket this season.
We really like that!
The Canadiens' training camp will start on September 21st, with the first preseason game scheduled for September 25th. The rookie camp, on the other hand, will begin on September 13th. The prospects of the Canadiens will also take part in three games as part of the 2023 Rookie Tournament, facing the Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators, and Pittsburgh Penguins.
It's starting to feel like hockey season is right around the corner!
