Last-minute official statement from the Canadiens regarding David Savard's injury
Since the start of the season, the Canadiens have already had two significant injuries, with Kirby Dach and Kaiden Guhle. The Canadiens took some time to issue a statement in both cases, as nothing was certain.
Last night, David Savard also got injured and did not return to the game. He blocked a shot from Tage Thompson in the 3rd period.
The emergency recall of Gustav Lindstrom was announced, and a few minutes later, the Canadiens already made a statement regarding David.
"Defenseman David Savard will be out indefinitely with an upper-body injury."

The fact that the announcement was made so quickly is a very bad sign. It could very well be a fracture that was detected through X-rays, and the team is waiting for the doctors' verdict to provide a return date.
Let's hope that's not the case, but unfortunately, we should prepare for the worst in his situation. Another extended absence.
