Last-minute personnel move and excellent news for the Canadiens as David Savard is ready to play
As the Canadiens play their second game in as many nights, facing the Nashville Predators at the Bell Centre, a very exciting announcement has just been made by the team.
"The Canadiens have activated David Savard off IR and have loaned defenseman Mattias Norlinder to the Laval Rocket." - Montreal Canadiens This means that David is ready to play and will officially be part of tonight's game. His return will shake up the defensive lineup.
It's known that players like Johnathan Kovacevic were getting too much ice time, and their effectiveness had greatly diminished. With Savard back, he can now be placed in a more favorable position for him.
