Major announcement: Another forward's season with the Canadiens is officially over, as Christian Dvorak will undergo surgery
While we were eagerly awaiting news about Josh Anderson's health, who unexpectedly participated in the team's practice this morning, it's the health of Christian Dvorak that now captures our attention.
Indeed, the forward was missing games and practices for treatments, but we never thought he was dealing with a serious injury.
Unfortunately, the center will have to miss the rest of the season as he needs to undergo surgery.
"Forward Christian Dvorak will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn pectoral muscle. He will undergo surgery tomorrow."
- Montreal Canadiens
For a second consecutive year, the forward will have to miss the end of the season. He hasn't been spared from injuries since arriving in Montreal, playing 56, 64, and 25 games in three seasons.
He still has another year left on his contract at $4.45 million. Let's hope he can stay healthy.
