Major announcement from the Tampa Bay Lightning regarding Andrei Vasilevskiy
Without their star goaltender, the Lightning have had to navigate the early part of the season. Many expected challenges with an unfamiliar goaltender, but they have managed quite well.
They maintained a more than respectable record of 9-6-4 with Jonas Johansson in net, which is quite impressive. The big names have stepped up, with players like Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point having an excellent start to the season.
While Vasi was expected to return in a few more weeks, very good news has been announced by Jon Cooper. The goaltender is set to be back in action as early as this week!
The Lightning will be one to watch with their number one goaltender back. They've held a solid record without him, and his return will only bolster their chances of improving further.
