Major ban for Dominique Ducharme at the Bell Centre, and it's causing a reaction
The Golden Knights are in town at the Bell Centre, marking the significant return of Dominique Ducharme for the first time since he was fired almost two years ago.
Montreal media has a tradition of engaging with former players and coaches when they return, and their messages are always appreciated by fans.
Unfortunately for Ducharme, that won't be possible this time. The former coach has been prohibited from speaking to the media during his time in Montreal. Naturally, decisions like these always generate a lot of discussion.
Alexis Lafrenière was denied the opportunity to speak French to the media, and such decisions also spark considerable debate.
Regardless, it's a shame not to be able to hear Ducharme's comments, especially since the Golden Knights are one of the top teams in the NHL.
