Martin St-Louis changes his lineup, and there is a big surprise
The Canadiens face off tonight against the Seattle Kraken. For the first time this season in Saturday's game, Sean Monahan was paired with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, but the experiment didn't last.
Indeed, Juraj Slafkovsky was back with the two stars of the CH at practice. A well-deserved promotion for the young man, who has been playing solid hockey for the past few weeks.
The biggest surprise in the lineup changes is Jake Evans finding himself on the wing of the 2nd line. Used at center on the 4th line since the beginning of the season, it's known that he brings some offense to his game and is capable of finding the back of the net. This is his chance to do so.
Despite the returns of David Savard and Arber Xhekaj to practice, it appears that they will not be in uniform tonight. However, a last-minute change could be announced in their case.
Samuel Montembeault will be in goal. Here is the projected lineup for tonight's game:
