Plot twist: Last-minute significant injury for the Canadiens
As you may already know, Joshua Roy was recalled by the Canadiens on Friday night. This personnel move was sudden, and it wasn't clear why.
A plot twist this morning, as the team announces that Josh Anderson is injured and will not be in the lineup.
"Josh Anderson is injured, lower body, and will not play tonight."
- According to information from Renaud Lavoie, TVA Sports
It's unfortunate news because Josh had been playing well since December. Is it related to the time he left the game due to his knee turning in a strange way? We don't know, but if that's the case, it could be serious.
Joshua's recall now makes much more sense. He will likely take a spot in the top 9 in the forward lineup.
The Canadiens will need to bring some offense against the powerful Oilers, who have been finding their form in recent weeks.
