Very controversial decision by the NHL that impacts the Montreal Canadiens
During Thursday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes, there was a dangerous sequence as Juraj Slafkovsky was hit to the head by Stefan Noesen.
No penalty was called on the play, and in fact, the Canadiens were at a disadvantage as Slafkovsky was forced to miss the last six minutes of the game to undergo concussion protocol.
Many fans, however, expected a suspension, but it won't happen. There won't even be a hearing between the Player Safety Department and Stefan Noesen.
This decision has generated a lot of negative reactions within the Canadiens' circle, but the good news is that Slafkovsky is not injured and will be in the lineup for Saturday's game.
