Viral scene involving Martin St. Louis: the head coach loses his temper with his players
Since taking over with the Canadiens, Martin St-Louis has always defended his players, whether in front of the media or during practice, standing as a barrier.
Lately, it seems that the coach is less patient. He doesn't hesitate to target a player, as he did with Brendan Gallagher after his costly penalty against the Golden Knights at the end of the game.
We also recall last week, after two consecutive games without any goals from the forwards, he conducted a special practice session to work on finishing.
Today, his impatience took another turn at practice. Martin raised his voice for a rare occasion, as explained by Anthony Martineau.
"Martin St-Louis interrupts the first drill. He talks to his players for a good 2-3 minutes at the center of the ice.
The drill resumes.
MSL whistles again and seems a bit less patient in the video available in the comment section."
Clearly, after eight losses in the last 10 games, the coach is fed up, and no passengers will have a place in the lineup. The players took it well, and we completely agree. Sometimes, a reality check is needed.
