There have also been rumors about Nick Suzuki's younger brother, Ryan, who could be acquired from the Carolina Hurricanes.
Now, stepping down another level, there's Tommy Cormier, who signed with the Trois-Rivières Lions, and now his older brother Xavier has just joined him.
Xavier accumulated 45 points in 65 games with the Fort Wayne Komets last year in the ECHL. He also played five games in the American Hockey League the previous year.
These are two great additions to the Canadiens' organization, as both brothers have the potential to climb the ranks and possibly make it to the Rocket, and who knows, maybe eventually to the Canadiens.
Xavier, at 5'11" and 185 lbs, is only 23 years old, while Tommy is 21. However, his smaller size of 5'7" and 150 lbs might be a limiting factor.
He has just completed his junior stint with the Victoriaville Tigres, with 79 points in 67 games, which is quite impressive.
