Bad news for Montreal Canadiens fans: it's going to be expensive
The 2024-25 NHL season is just around the corner, and fans have already learned that it will be very expensive to support the Canadiens, at least when it comes to buying a game jersey.
Indeed, the prices for Fanatics jerseys have been released, with some going for as much as $625 for a single jersey. That's quite steep.
The Authentic Pro jersey is made from the same material as the players' jerseys, so it's certainly popular, but not many people will be able to afford it.
Additionally, the only players available are Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Juraj Slafkovsky.
The cheapest option is the practice jersey, priced at $140. This gives an idea of the overall pricing, though we are told they are of high quality.
It's now clear that Adidas wasn't supplying actual game jerseys, and now that the contract has moved to Fanatics, they are back, but at a significantly higher price.
La gamme complète des prix se trouve sur le site du Canadien et de la LNH.
