First, Pascal Vincent, who has become quite appreciated for his frequent updates, took the floor. He's an excellent communicator and aims to utilize his players' strengths, which is an interesting approach.
But he wasn't the only one addressing the media. Prospects Florian Xhekaj, Sean Farrell, Emil Heineman, and Luke Tuch also spoke. What's notable is that they represent the most likely prospects to play for the Canadiens in the near future.
I'm not including Logan Mailloux, Lane Hutson, and David Reinbacher in this group, as I believe their place in the NHL is assured in the short or medium term.
Sean Farrell will be one to watch this season. His development could be very interesting, and he already has a year of professional hockey under his belt.
As for Florian Xhekaj, it's needless to say that betting against a Xhekaj is never a good idea. I'm certain he'll surprise us.
Emil Heineman, in my opinion, has the best chance of stepping in to replace Rafaël Harvey-Pinard immediately, unless Alex Barré-Boulet has a standout camp.
