Canadiens: Martin St-Louis offers touching update, and it was hard
Martin St-Louis opened up about his past week with heartfelt honesty. By his own admission, it was truly challenging, and one can empathize with him.
Indeed, Martin held a very candid press conference for the media present in Denver, where he spoke about his past week. There are no words to describe all the emotions he must have gone through.
"I'm glad to be back for several reasons. The main reason is that things are stable at home. It hasn't been an easy week, but I'm glad to be back because it's my passion. My passions are my family and hockey (in that order), so it's nice to come back because things are better," said Martin St-Louis, who also confirmed that he watched all the Canadiens games.
Certainly, no parent should ever have to experience a significant injury or health problem with one of their children. And no one should have to put their passion on hold.
For Martin, his two passions cannot be lived simultaneously, so he had a difficult choice to make, which was to leave the Canadiens. However, it was the right decision.
