In recent years, we've seen the role of enforcers revive in professional hockey, provided they are also good hockey players.

Players like Georges Parros and John Scott no longer have a place in the NHL, but those like Nicolas Deslauriers and Arber Xhekaj, who can play hockey well, are important on a team.

Whether in the NHL, AHL, or ECHL, the Canadiens are following the trend and have acquired the rights to Morgan Adams-Moisan in exchange for the rights to Matthew Boucher.

We announced it in the past few hours, and his contract signing has just been confirmed.

We're talking about a giant capable of defending his teammates, who has experience in the American Hockey League, and who performs well on the ice.

He notably accumulated 17 points in 27 games last year, which is quite good for a 3rd or 4th line forward, who adds a lot of toughness and disruption.

The Trois-Rivières Lions let go of a good young player in Boucher, but they have significantly beefed up their lineup with Morgan. They have filled a gap in their roster.
