Cole Caufield and Patrik Laine make a significant gesture for Johnny Gaudreau's family
In tragic times, it's important to come together, and that's exactly what's happening at Johnny Gaudreau's funeral today.
Two members of the Canadiens stand out with their presence, as Cole Caufield and Patrik Laine flew to Pennsylvania to attend the event in person and pay their final respects to Johnny Hockey.
They are among many in attendance, and Cole Caufield didn't go unnoticed by journalists. He was interviewed and had kind words for the late Johnny Gaudreau.
This is a very touching statement, and it seems he was quite close to Johnny Gaudreau and his family. It's not surprising, as Cole Caufield surrounds himself with good people, including Canadiens teammate Nick Suzuki.
