Juraj Slafkovsky made a very serious mistake that is generating a lot of discussion
If we tell you that Juraj Slafkovsky violated a sacred rule in the Canadiens' locker room, would you believe us? It happened on Tuesday night.
Don't worry; we're not talking about the Canadiens player but rather his father, who shares the same name. Indeed, the Slovakian's father was present on Tuesday night, and one can assume he must have been very proud of his son's three-point performance in his first NHL game.
He was then invited into the locker room, where he made a serious mistake.
"The Canadiens cover their logo with a carpet when the media is in there. Once the room clears out, the carpet is removed. Just as that happened last night, Juraj Slafkovsky brought his dad in the room. You'll never guess the first place he stepped. Junior freaked out."
It's obviously without malice that Mr. Slafkovsky did this, and it's not something unforgivable, but he should never do it again.
This is the case throughout the NHL. No team accepts someone walking on the logo in the locker room, no matter who does it. A valuable lesson for the Slovakian family and undoubtedly a humorous moment.
