Logan Mailloux loses it and defends Lane Hutson after a huge hit
Lane Hutson is a solid young defenseman, but being young, he still needs to learn to keep his head up. He took a big hit, and Logan Mailloux didn't like it.
It was the Leafs' prospect Marshall Finnie who delivered a heavy check on Hutson, and the Canadiens' captain for the occasion, Logan Mailloux, immediately jumped in.
Fortunately for the Leafs player, the officials were quick to step in, as the captain looked visibly upset.
It's nice to see him stand up for his young teammate like that. Mailloux made it clear that no one will be able to hit Lane Hutson without facing consequences.
We haven't yet found the video of Mailloux's response, but here's the initial hit on Lane Hutson.
More details will follow.
