Logan Mailloux recalled in the coming days by the Canadiens? The defenseman seems ready to make the jump to the NHL
Currently, Canadiens fans have their eyes on Juraj Slafkovsky, and rightfully so. His progression is simply impressive, quickly becoming a crucial member of the first line and power play.
However, he's not the only one in the organization with rapid progression. Logan Mailloux has been in a league of his own in the American Hockey League for the past two months.
Indeed, the defenseman's offensive statistics have been noteworthy, earning him a spot in the All-Star Game. On the defensive side, it's equally impressive.
"Logan Mailloux had a -12 plus-minus on December 6. He now has a 0 rating as of February 17. He has only had one game in the negative since December 29, a streak of 18 games. When we say his defensive play has significantly improved, it's true. It's not just his offensive production that impresses."

Mailloux has all the attributes to succeed in the NHL for the past two months. He's consistent and continues to improve.
With Jordan Harris injured and Arber Xhekaj struggling to seize his chance, a recall could be in the cards, especially considering David Reinbacher might arrive in Laval in about two weeks.
If he's not recalled and the Canadiens want him to continue developing in Laval, you can be sure he won't spend another full season there.
