MAJOR: Martin St-Louis Leaves the Canadiens and Will Not Be Present for the Game
It is with great sadness that we learn of Martin St-Louis's departure from the Canadiens. The coach must be absent for an indefinite period due to a family emergency.
Trevor Letowski will serve as interim coach until his return, but for the time being, St-Louis will not be behind the Canadiens' bench for Saturday night's game in Calgary.
"CALGARY The Canadiens announced on Saturday that head coach Martin St-Louis will be away from the team indefinitely for family reasons. Assistant coach Trevor Letowski will assume head coaching duties during his absence." - Montreal Canadiens
Let's hope it's nothing too serious and that things will improve quickly.
Our thoughts are with Martin and his family. It must be significant for him to leave the team so suddenly.
