Major news on Martin St-Louis' son, Mason St-Louis
Martin St-Louis had to leave the Canadiens mid-season to be by his son Mason's side, who got injured during a hockey game. For the coach to leave the Canadiens, it must have been serious.
Since then, we haven't had any updates, and that's perfectly fine. The St-Louis family deserves their privacy. However, a major event has just occurred, and it's very positive.
We really didn't expect this. It's truly significant!
"The son of Martin continues his journey!
PHASE 1 | Round 7, Pick 104
The Fighting Saints continue the family tradition and have selected forward Mason St. Louis with the 104th overall selection in the seventh round."
Wow! So, this means that Mason is healthy, and we don't have to worry about him. He can continue his path, and he'll be playing in the USHL, the last step before the NHL draft and NCAA.
For a young American player, this is a great accomplishment, and we are very proud of him. Knowing Martin, he must be incredibly proud too.
