Martin St-Louis Confirms the Rumor, and It's Very Bad News
We mentioned earlier today: Jayden Struble was absent from the morning practice for treatment.
The young defenseman was, however, in his regular position during Monday's practice. This announcement was surprising and concerning.
While we thought a decision might be made during the warm-up, Martin St-Louis has just surprised everyone by confirming that Struble will not participate in the game.

Struble quickly became an important member of the Canadiens' defensive corps, and his absence will undoubtedly be felt.
The silver lining in the circumstances is that Johnathan Kovacevic is a good defenseman, and he will step in, paired with Jordan Harris.
